George licensed social worker who graduated at the top of his class from Temple University with a master’s degree in social work. George is driven by a passion to help others and has been working in the field of addiction and co-occurring mental health since 2012. Serving as an agent of change in the community, George has worked for both private and nonprofit organizations. George has held positions in the field as a Behavioral Tech, Therapist, and Clinical Director.
As a Therapist George uses an eclectic approach, he draws from a variety of theoretical perspectives using evidence-based research, interventions, and creativity. Models include, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
As a Clinical Director, George is proficient at an ability to multitask. He helps in overseeing day to day operations with the CEO and supervises the clinical team. He ensures that the staff delivers evidence-based services. In addition, he helps craft clinical procedures and programs.
In his spare time George enjoys camping, fishing, and hiking.
